Hand-crafted for quality and strength. Water fowling calls for a truly great duck boat like Carstens. Our quality starts with skilled craftsmen molding fiberglass strands with high tensile strength polyester resin. Foam is added to the bulk heads for positive flotation. Oar locks and carrying handles are standard. The Puddler does not have oar locks, it does have carrying handles. Stabilization pole holes are included on the Mallard and Pintail models. All duck boats are finished with a gel coat in the Carstens unique camo design.
